Longevity by design

Longevity by design

Did you know that wearing a piece of clothing for an extra nine months reduces waste and water usage by 20-30%? The amount of time we keep our clothes makes a big difference. It’s something that informs our design process from the moment pencil hits paper during product sketching. Ultimately, there are three factors that ensure our clothing can pass the test of time.

1. Fabric durability

Linen and wool both have fantastic track records when it comes to durability. Particularly the high quality versions, which combine natural hardiness with sartorial refinement. Well cared for, they’ll last a very long time and look better with age.

2. Timeless design

We build on linen and wool’s natural durability with a focus on timeless design. We try to avoid being drawn into seasonal trends, choosing styles that have endured over the years and injecting our own flavour through the use of exceptional fabrics and very carefully selected colour palettes.

3. Top notch manufacturing

High quality manufacturing completes the holy trinity of clothing longevity. We follow a meticulous process when choosing our manufacturers, starting with comprehensive sampling and ending with in-person factory visits. All the manufacturers we currently use are based in Northern Portugal where textile manufacturing is in the blood.

If you’re in the market for clothing that is designed to last and created with a long life in mind, our Spring Collection is ready to fill out your warm weather wardrobe for years to come.
