The Field Jacket has always been a useful piece of outerwear. Easy to wear over a shirt or knitwear, with enough structure to feel considered without being overly formal.
This season we have used four bespoke wools, each with its own story. Chosen because they're different to what you'll find elsewhere.

Burnt Herringbone, 300gsm
The runaway favourite from last year; we literally couldn't make them fast enough. There is a silvery quality to the undyed wool herringbone that gives this colourway an extra bit of je ne sais quois.
Houndstooth, 300gsm
This is another example of undyed wool's potential. There's real warmth in its earthy browns and the houndstooth is just the right size. Not big and garish, nor small and fiddly. Sophisticated in its simplicity.
Burnt Orange, 385gsm
This melton has a raised finish that behaves like a heavier cloth without the bulk. It has a particularly rich, tactile handle and an unusually deep finish. Perfect for the classic survival orange we've chosen.
Ink Blue, 425gsm
A classic navy melton with a difference. This version uses a carbonised yarn, which goes through an extra process to make it as uniform as possible. The resulting yarn absorbs dye more evenly for a crisp, luxury finish.
