There are occasions that require a suit. There are considerably more that benefit from one. Our new Three Season Suit was designed with both in mind. Cut from midweight British wool, we’ve borrowed some details we love from classic British tailoring, then softened things up with a natural shoulder, unlined body and patch pockets. The result is a suit you can wear properly when required, and considerably less properly the rest of the time.
01. When a suit is required
Double vents, a slanted welt chest pocket, adjustable side cinchers and a flattering mid-rise cut ensure you look the part when you’re fully suited and booted.
02. When it isn't
The natural shoulder, unlined body and hip patch pockets take a touch of formality out of the jacket, lending it a more casual air when required.
03. When you only need half of it
Pair the jacket with mid-blue jeans or a decent pair of grey slacks and it becomes an exceptionally useful separate. Perfect for travel days.
Nine Ounces. Three Seasons. British Wool.
Finding the right cloth took some time. We eventually found it in a 9oz wool twill made in West Yorkshire: substantial enough for the cooler months without being too cumbersome for milder spring days. It’s a noteworthy colour too. Not the near-black navy that typically fills commuter trains and City pavements, nor anything conspicuously blue. Just a fraction richer than convention dictates. Enough to give the cloth some life, not so much that it’s no longer navy.
