Inspired by a particularly good pair of vintage trousers we inherited, the Straight Leg Trousers have a mid-high rise, with a single pleat and a fuller leg that harks back to an era of trousers designed to sit higher on the waist and hang through the full length of the leg.

This 400gsm /12oz Barathea Wool from Marton Mills in Yorkshire is the same grade that's used for officers' ceremonial dress. It's a stunning fabric with loads of texture that hangs with real intention while retaining an understated elegance.

Our model is 6'1 with a 39 inch chest and wears a 31.
