Below you’ll find a run-down of the fabrics we’re using this season. We pride ourselves in the breadth and quality of the natural fabrics we use. We’re only scratching the surface of what’s possible with linen and wool, but we’ve already got some options that might take you by surprise.

Laundered Suiting Linen

This is a bespoke linen made for us at a small batch mill called Emblem Weavers in Ireland. It has a special laundered finish that gives it an appealing seersucker-esque handle and makes it less susceptible to sharp wrinkling. It is a yarn-dyed fabric which gives it  a real depth of texture and colour.

Midweight Canvas Linen

The fabric that we’re perhaps best known for. A hefty canvas linen with an amazing texture and weight that retains an elegance because of the way it hangs. That easy wearing drape only gets better as the jacket wears in. Over the first few months of wear, the fibres will soften and relax, moulding to the wearer’s  shape.

Heavy Twill Linen

This is a twill weave suiting fabric that we’ve repurposed for our Spring Overshirts. A dense  twill weave gives it the sort of rigidity and structure that differentiates an Overshirt from a regular shirt. With time and a few washes, it will find a perfect balance between the formality of its suiting origins and the patina of wear.

Stonewashed Linen

This fabric has loads of texture and only gets better with time. All stonewashed linen legwear goes through a garment washing programme which serves the purpose of softening the fabric and ensuring all the shrinking happens before they get into your hands.

Midweight Linen

These are luxurious shirting fabrics with a slightly silken handle. That’s down to the length of the fibres used - only the longest fibres from the flax plants - to ensure the linen is as refined as possible. They’re soft, they’re durable, and they’ll look after you for years to come.

Heavy Shirting Linen

This is the linen that was used in the brand’s inaugural collection back in 2018. It is noticeably heavier than a classic shirting linen but behaves the same way all good linens do - it’ll get softer over time, developing a lovely patina as the colours soften. The fabric hangs with slightly more purpose.

Linen Wool

This is our first foray into the world of linen-wool blends, but we knew when we laid eyes on it that we had to put it to good use. While the primary material is linen, a noticeable contribution of wool in the weft lends it a density and texture that makes this fabric really special.
