Flemish fields to Original Fibres rails.
For this year’s Chelsea Flower Show, we've partnered with Daniel Combes Garden Design on a stand concept that takes us on the same journey our products go through, from flax crop to Original Fibres clothing.
The centrepiece is a dedication to the flax plant. Set into a reclaimed architect’s chest, we’ve created a living flax crop with a variety of other hedgerow flowers typically found in Northern Europe - where 80% of the world's flax is grown.
We've also captured various aspects of the labour-intensive process of turning flax plants into linen fabric. From pulling and retting to scutching and hackling, it’s a maze of time-sensitive processes that require expert overview and diligent application.
Materials and Reusability.
We really wanted the stand’s construction to complement linen’s inherent sustainability. To achieve that, we focused on two things.
Firstly, the provenance of all furniture in the stand. Everything you see is either reclaimed or vintage. We love creating a new chapter for things originally built to stand the test of time.
Secondly, all installations have been designed in a way that makes them reusable. The longevity of clothing is a huge piece in the sustainability puzzle and the same is true of all goods, so we made sure none of the stand’s installations were single use only.
If you're heading to the show this week, come say hello at stand 414 on the Eastern Avenue.

The AW25 Field Jackets are in, and they’re already the fastest selling item we’ve ever released. We knew they were special, but the reaction has still taken us aback.
