Orders Under $800 – No Duties or Tariffs

Good news — the US de minimis threshold is $800 USD. This means:

  • If your order total (excluding shipping) is under $800, you won’t pay any import duties or tariffs.
  • Your order should arrive with no extra charges at delivery.

Orders Over $800 – Duties May Apply

If your order is over $800, US Customs may apply import duties or tariffs based on the type and value of the goods.

  • These are set by the US government, not by us.
  • The amount depends on the product category and tariff rates and will vary. However for clothing imported from the UK the tariff rate is usually between 10-15% and may include admin fees from the carrier ($10-25)

We’ll always include a full customs invoice with your order, and most shipments are processed quickly through US Customs.

Our Founders

George Rutherford-Jones and Callum McCall founded Original Fibres in 2018. The brand was born out of a shared love for London's famous menswear streets and the role they've played in shaping global fashion for centuries.

A particular fascination with fabric texture led to an inaugural collection of heavy linen shirts, designed to be worn all year round. From that specialised beginning, the brand has expanded its exploration of the world's best natural fabrics, showcasing a full wardrobe of linen and wool in its two London stores.
