Description
Based on the fit of our ever-popular Railway Jacket, this new jacket style is our take on a vintage Japanese stonecutter’s jacket sourced on a research trip to Tokyo.
The heat of Japanese stonecutting studios in mid summer places a tricky set of demands on clothing - it needs to be sufficiently hard wearing to put up with the physical demands of working with stone with enough breathability to keep its wearer cool under the collar.
Those competing demands are met by a lightweight, garment washed denim with a super soft handle that sits easy on the skin. Form, function, and comfort working in perfect harmony.
