Spring Sounds with Jack Savoretti

Spring Sounds with Jack Savoretti

For our latest OF Sounds, we met Jack Savoretti - the prolific British Italian singer songwriter – and asked him to create a playlist that celebrates the release of latent energy stored up over winter

You returned to Notting Hill to record your new album. What brought you back to your original stomping ground to record this, your ninth studio album?

This is a full-circle album. It’s going back to my roots, to the neighbourhood where I first started making music - with the same friends and musicians I met around Ladbroke Grove and Portobello Road. It’s the album I always wanted to make when I was starting out, but didn’t yet have the courage or experience to make. Now I do.

We were chuffed to be chosen as the outfitter for you and your band for your recent performance on Graham Norton. What aspect of being on the iconic red sofa would take people by surprise?

It’s my 5th appearance on this sofa

What can we look forward to next from Jack Savoretti?

I will be performing a very special show at The Royal Albert Hall in April and then embarking on the largest tour of my career to date across the UK & Europe in the Autumn
